How Horses Became My Teachers
My roan Appaloosa rescue, Reese, became a central part of my recovery. His calm presence, intuitive responses, and ability to mirror my emotional state taught me more about nervous system regulation than any textbook ever could.

With Reese and the herd, I learned to:

• and return to the present moment

Our drumming sessions, pasture meditations, and mindful walks became a sanctuary — a place where my healing truly began.
